Master Bedroom HELP!!

So last week I saw a friend post that she made a headboard for her bedroom and it turned out darling! I wanted to make one too, but went to the fabric store and was overwhelmed because of all the choices (and I don't have bedding that I love for my room.) I need help deciding on something to order so I can make a Headboard. If you don't know me very well, I can't make a decision until I ask a million times and because last time I ordered something online for my room I didn't love it. I need your help.

My room can be any color and these are the ones I liked from Overstock.com that are reasonably priced. Let me know what you think.

St. Thomas 8-piece Comforter Set

These first 2 are nothing like the colors I usually decorate in but I am trying to see if I can get away from the norm.

Revello 7-piece Comforter Set

Fontain Blue 7-piece Comforter Set
I love these two blue and brown ones! But my living room is the same colors.
Milano Blue 7-piece Comforter Set
This purple is darling.
Damask 4-piece Comforter Set

Please let me know what you think or if you find something else that I might like let me know, I am open to anything.

Thanks

Happy Birthday Hailey

So I have been a really bad blogger this last couple of months. A lot has happen, Josh and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary, we went to Lake Powell, we listed our house for sale, Mollie went into heat and is being bred so we don't have rat puppies again, and Hailey today turns two!

I will blog about the others later but I want to take a minute and talk about Hailey.

I can't believe that two years ago I was in the hospital having this angel. Josh and I are truly blessed to have such a sweet little girl. Hailey has always been a little shy and a mama's girl but lately she is a daddy's girl. She gets so excited when Josh comes home from work and is always asking where he is. They are "buddies."

Hailey is talking really well and you can understand her most of the time.
She knows all the animal sounds.
She knows her shapes.
She knows all colors.
She has lately began to learn some letters.
She is learning to count now too.

The best is she is POTTY Trained!! She was really easy to train and it didn't take long. I would suggest starting them when they are young because it made life really easy before she starting to get a little attitude. She still has some accidents but she hates to be dirty so she will try to hold it as long as she can.

We are having a party for her tomorrow night and if you didn't get an invite and you want to come, email me and I will get you the info.

I love you Hailey! Happy Birthday!

House for Sale!!

I didn't drop off the face of the planet, I am just really bad a this blogging thing. A lot is going on, one of which is we are selling our home in Taylorsville. If any of you are wondering where we will be going, we will be moving back to our West Valley home.

I just wanted to post a little about my house, just in case anyone knows of anyone who might be looking for a cute starter home.

The home has 1800 square feet. It is a tri-multi level
with 3 bedrooms and 2 bath (1 full and 1 3/4bath.) There is new 3tone paint and new carpet throughout the home.

Smart Shopping....Again!

I thought I would share my little find this week. I had a smile on my face the entire drive home!
This is what I bought:
1 ltr. Coke
1 ltr. Coke Zero
1 ltr. Fanta Orange
2 Capri Suns
2 Cream Cheese spreads
2 blocks of cheese
2 Kraft singles
1 chip ahoy
2 boxes of Teddy Grahams
2 large boxes of instant Jell-O
1 box Ritz bits

I spent $12.97 saved $42.88!
I got a $5 off coupon for my next purchase at Albertson's
and a $20 mail-in rebate.
My coupons alone saved me $18.50!

I think this was my best shopping trip ever! I love She Shops Smart blog, they are so helpful. Josh said he can't eat any of this but Hailey can (and if he is on a diet he shouldn't be snacking anyway.) Love you dear!

Random Pictures

Sorry about the long absence and no pictures, we have forgotten our camera everywhere we go and if we have the camera we don't have the SD card. These are a few pictures that I found on our small SD card.

Josh traded his "sweet Dodge Avenger" for this "sweet bullet bike"
Just another reason why I love him so much, I am ALWAYS entertained.

This car he bought a week before he traded the Avenger. The Avenger was going to die any day and not even getting him to and from work, he found this on KSL listed at $2,000. He talked the guy down and paid $1,170 for it.

This is a Moose!

About 2 weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon we went up to Silver Lake. Niether one of us has been there but I heard about it in Mother's group and wanted to check it out. It was so neat, it has a walkway around the entire lake and Hailey pushed her little stroller the whole way(not on the gravel or dirt, she doesn't like dirt in her shoes.) There was a Moose that came for a drink. It was my first time seeing a Moose.

Hailey LOVED the ducks. This is her looking at the ducks. She also LOVES her frog jammies.

One morning I found Hailey getting herself ready to go swimming. She said, "wim suit!"
That is my swim top and her bottoms. She found them in a laundry basket.

For Memorial Day(I know for ever ago) we went boating with McKay and Cristi. We had a blast! Josh got this black eye from Packer head butting his face while on the tube.

Things I love

I am coping this from my cute friend Cristi, but it was a really cute idea. I will have to post more pictures later, I have been really bad with taking pictures.

Things I love about Hailey,

How she says "ba bye" to everything. Today we went to eat and she said "ba bye eat" my favorite is "ba bye Poop."

The way she talks.

That she is a Huge Mama's Girl. (She loves her daddy too)

The way she dances in her room.

How she sings Elmo's World.

She keeps her sunglasses on for a very long time.

She is a girly girl.

Lets me do her hair every morning.

Copies everything I say.

She is my little buddy. She is my best girl friend.

That she is shy.

Josh took this picture the other day on a walk we took down the street.
I think he did a really good job.
I love this picture.

Shopping Smart

So lately I have been getting into the coupon clipping thing. I was overwhelmed at first and didn't really know where to start, but yesterday was my third week doing it and I saved $52! WhaaaaWhoo! I spent $19.28 at Albertsons on Monday and bought 4 boxes of Mac N Cheese, 1 Ritz crackerful, 1 bag of trail mix, 4 boxes of General Mills Cereal, 2 boxes of butter, 2 Tillamook cheese blocks, 1 bag of chips, 2 bottles of Spray N Wash, 2 Kraft Dressings, 1 bottle of Kraft BBQ sauce, and something else I just can't remember what it is right now. I was so excited that I saved so much that it makes me want to keep doing it. I really like the blog Sheshopssmart.blogspot.com it has been the most helpful and gives great ideas for meal planning (with stuff that is on sale) and other free offers. That blog is linked with grocerysmarts.com and it gives you a list of items that are on sale and what coupons to use.

Lets just say it has helped me out with grocery shopping a ton. I've heard that it takes about 5 months to stock up your pantry and by then you are just replenishing your food storage. Because I am too cheap to get a Sunday paper delivered to my home, I go to Walmart on Saturday or Monday morning to pick up 6 papers. They say to get one paper for each person in your family, to stock up your food storage. I am really excited to get this down where I am just replenishing my food storage. Food storage has been really hard for me to start, I have a few things but not a lot that we actually eat.

This is my newest obsession lately, it's like a game now.
